What is WoTech Summer Camp?

A two-day leadership retreat designed by women in technology for women in technology. Hear from a variety of subject matter experts, skilled and inspirational keynotes and various professionals in the field of STEM present on relevant topics for leaders and professionals eager to excel in their career and community.

WoTech Summer Camp exists as an annual leadership retreat to bring together the women in technology (technologists, entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists and innovators) who are driving the tech-based economy. The two-day camp unveils cutting-edge programming from subject matter experts in an atmosphere that fosters collaboration and connection.

Summer Camp is powered by the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council's women in technology "WoTech" committee. WoTech exists to champion and celebrate women and diversity in the Roanoke and New River Valley's growing tech community. Each initiative aims to support and connect women working in technology in any season through mentoring, education, networking, and events. In addition to an annual leadership retreat, WoTech curates unique monthly and quarterly events including Morning Jolt, Lunch and Learn, and Power Hour.
