Join us for our WoTech Lunch & Learn, Part 2 of Anita's discussion, "Moving from Awareness to Agency – A hands-on introduction to the Safe & Sound Approach."

This interactive session helps participants bridge the gap between individual insight and systemic change. Through assessments, reflection, peer consulting, and strengths-based tools, attendees will begin building the capacity—and case—for trauma-informed transformation.

Part 2 Agenda:

  • Welcome and re-orientation to the challenges and themes
  • 7 Agreements overview and personal/organizational assessment activity
  • Group consulting activity based on their assessments
  • How to build for safety not speed to create adoptable change and discussion on where they see both need and challenges
  • Using our strengths to fuel sustainable change advocacy
  • Closing and Q&A

Lunch will be provided starting at 11:30 AM, with our speaker kicking off at noon. We’ll wrap up by 1:00 PM, leaving you energized and ready to take on the rest of your day. Come hungry—for knowledge, connection, and a great meal.

Doors open at 11:30 AM for networking and lunch with programming beginning at 12:00 PM.  Program ends at 1:00 PM.

Speaker Spotlight

Anita Roach is the founder of the Safe & Sound Workplace Alliance and author of Safe & Sound: Cultivating a Whole-human, Trauma-informed Approach for Employee and Employer Well-being. With over 30 years of experience advising professional services firms nationwide, she helps organizations create environments where people and profits thrive. Anita’s work is rooted in both her personal experience with trauma and her background in psychology, global leadership, and wellness. She holds multiple certifications and degrees, including a B.S. in Psychology, a Diploma in Global Leadership from the U.N.-established University for Peace, and credentials in trauma-informed coaching and holistic health.
