This year, Radford University, through the Vinod Chachra IMPACT Lab, will host a special, curated track for educators and students at this year’s RBTC Emerging Tech Conference. The Cybersecurity Workforce Track will feature inspiring speakers, career-focused panels, and an interactive simulation to explore how cybersecurity education, rural innovation, and workforce development intersect to build secure communities.
Radford University is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education. Through its Vinod Chachra IMPACT Lab and the federally funded PACE initiative, Radford delivers scalable, real-world learning aligned with industry needs, particularly for rural learners.
What to Expect:
- A presentation on cybersecurity and national security in rural America
- Career roundtable with local and regional cyber professionals
- Industry-education panel on workforce pipelines
- Hands-on demo of Radford’s CBE Cyber Foundations course
The Cybersecurity Track is for educators and students and tickets are available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. All tickets are non-tranferable.
