Uma Marques currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at Roanoke County, VA. She has spent over 30 years in technology, spanning for-profit, not-for-profit, entrepreneurial ventures and local government. Uma holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Anna University, India and Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering (Clemson University, SC) and Technology Management (George Mason University, VA).
