This event brings together our angel investor network to hear from three innovative companies in the Biotech space:
Empo Health is tackling diabetic foot ulcers with an in-home imaging scale and SaaS platform that enables podiatrists to remotely monitor patients and intervene earlier to prevent complications. Its FDA-registered solution is already in clinical use and being reimbursed across multiple practices.
SalivIQ Diagnostics is advancing disease detection through saliva-based testing, offering a noninvasive alternative that improves patient compliance and streamlines clinical workflows. Its flagship Strep A test allows for easy self-collection, with a broader pipeline spanning COVID, flu, and mono.
Chorda Pharma (a RAMP Alumni company) is developing a novel topical therapy for neuropathic pain, including diabetic peripheral neuropathy, using a proprietary non-burning capsaicin formulation. Alongside this, its OTC product Capsadyn® is gaining traction in the market, demonstrating strong demand and real-world validation.
