The genesis of Liquet™ Medical is rooted in a long-term business relationship between a physician-inventor, Dr. Patrick Kelly, and the Liquet Medical co-founders. Dr. Kelly is a serial inventor and practicing Vascular surgeon in Sioux Falls, SD who has routinely treated patients suffering from venous thromboembolic diseases. Co-Founder and CEO, John Schindler has worked closely with Dr. Kelly on several innovative device development projects over the course of a 30+ year career in the medical device industry. John also has a deep connection to patients suffering from pulmonary embolism (PE), as his mother died from a PE shortly after the birth of his sister. This led him to a career focused on innovative vascular disease treatment solutions and a passion for bringing Liquet’s devices to market.
